In 1973, a young lady named Becky Sanders put up a flower stall in a gas station where Safeway now sits in Sunrise and Cirby. She had a commitment to quality and outstanding customer service. Over the years, Becky’s Flowers grew and moved to a bigger space. The current management who took over since 2004 retained the name “Becky’s Flowers” and have modernized the business with computers, digital presence, social media and advertising. It has a 3000 sq ft of retail space with a 500 sq ft walk-in cooler. Under the day-to-day leadership of head designer Mark Fahey, the shop has become a household name with its modern looking arrangements, continuing the quality and excellent service that Becky had started. Becky’s continues to evolve and now delivers beer and wine to accompany flowers and gourmet baskets.
